As part of each Learning Pathway, tutors will provide opportunities to focus on career progression. Students will find out about employment activities related to their chosen Pathway, and how to access these. Careers Education will also include Employer Encounters as part of the curriculum delivery, where students will either visit business premises, or experience local employer visits to college sessions. Each Core Group will engage with the planning for Employer Encounters, and tutors will link core learning to future career options, including signposting for access routes and pathways into employment.
Our full careers provision document can be found here.
